Ricardo Zisis, James Baker and Kevin Winters join the PA team Expansion
Following the recent announcement of Daniela Polk joining to head our newly formed entertainment division and consumer marketing, and Jessica Piha-Grafstein joining as a Senior Advisor, we are pleased to welcome several additional senior members to the Perceptual Advisors’ team.
Ricardo Zisis has joined Perceptual Advisors as VP of Latin America. Ricardo brings an unparalleled wealth of experience and knowledge of the region. Ricardo has had an extensive business and publishing career in Latin America. From 2014 until last year, Ricardo led AméricaEconomía Media Group in a successful turnaround and a strategic change towards a multi-platform business with a strong emphasis on digital media -website, social media, mobile, and video – as well as a growing conference & events division. Previously, he launched both Harvard Business Review America Latina and Harvard Business Review Brasil, performing the dual role of Publisher & Editor-in-Chief of those publications. From this launching pad, he spearheaded the development of a conference division, a book publishing division, and a corporate learning division. Back in 1986, he was part of the founding team of AméricaEconomía, pioneering regional business reporting as Editor-in-Chief from 1988 to 2000.
We have also appointed James Baker, CPA as Perceptual Advisors’ CFO. In this role, James will help guide the firm's financial operations as it scales globally. James has extensive experience as an international tax consultant, helping companies navigate the complexity of the US tax system. James is based in Miami/ Houston and received his degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
We are also privileged that Kevin Winters has joined as Senior Advisor. Kevin is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Flatrock Wealth Partners, and has more than two decades experience as an investment professional. During his career, he has overseen tens of billions of
assets under management, and led large teams at some of the world’s most renowned investment firms. Kevin brings a unique set of insights to our firm about markets and the economy.

Claudia co-founded Perceptual Advisors with Dan Tarman to develop creative solutions through a rigorous and purposeful strategic process, and execute with a focused and intense approach to delivering measurable outcomes.
Claudia brings her 25+ years of business management and marketing and communications experience. Amongst Claudia’s accolades, she was recognized among the global top 100 most influential people by PR Week and won the iconic Gold Stevie Award for the best Executive of the year in Latin America. Throughout her career, she held positions as President and CEO, EVP at Hill+ Knowlton Latin America, Global Client Leader, SVP Americas at LLYC, Country Manager, Innovation and Technology Chairman, Head of US Hispanic Practice, and Regional Client Leader at Burson-Marsteller (BCW). She led international client work for Nestle, Ford Motors, Intel, Walgreens Boots Alliance, AT&T, Facebook, Allergan, Pfizer, Medtronic, HP, Unilever, Qualcomm, Sony, Accenture, and FedEx amongst others.
In addition to serving as Co-Founder of Perceptual Advisors, Claudia also leads the firm's travel and tourism practice, drawing on her extensive experience doing country branding for several Latin American countries during her career.
Gioia brings the experience of a multidisciplinary career, which started at a noticeably young age in the advertising industry at J. Walter Thompson. Later, she founded Im-Pulsar editorial group in a joint effort with the National Institute of Agro-Industrial Technology to develop specialized content to keep the agricultural industry abreast of innovations in various fields.
She holds a BA in Education and Psychology and is certified by the University of Yale and the Chinese School of Business -CKGSB- in Global Digital Branding, by the University of Virginia in Digital Transformation, in Entrepreneurship by Wharton School, and the Scotwork Institute in Negotiation Skills.
