Based in the Zurich area in Switzerland, Renate is Managing Director Life Sciences Practice, Europe at Perceptual Advisors. An agile and passionate change agent, Renate is a seasoned branding and marketing communications executive with a multicultural background across Life Sciences, FMCG, retail and consultancy sectors. She has held senior corporate Brand and Communications positions at leading global players in healthcare, including Sandoz/Novartis, Allergan and Teva Pharmaceuticals. During her tenue at Sandoz, she gained deep insights into the value of branding for innovative products and therapies entering the market, helping differentiate and gain loyalty and market share in a highly competitive environment.

An innovative and out-of-the box thinker, Renate has a successful track record of helping building businesses through building brands. Her expertise spans from the creation of new brand identities for innovative products and therapeutic areas, to evolving existing brands to deliver impactful and sustainable business results using data and insights for the strategic repositioning of brands in a period of rapid innovation and change in healthcare.

Having managed communications for 10+ M&A deals in global large- and midscale companies, Renate has also extensive experience in change communications, integration, re-branding
and transformation. Acting as an authentic change agent, fluent in German, English and French she successfully champions stakeholder engagement in times of ambiguity with purpose and values through her agile and inspirational leadership,

She holds a Master of Art of the Karl-Franzens-University Graz/Austria, a Bachelor in Business Administration and is certified in Prosci® Change Management and as Team Coaching Practitioner.
