Himanshu is a Senior Advisor to Perceptual Advisors who has almost 20 years of experience working with investors, technologists, founders, and academics to build and scale commercial, OKR-centric Business and People Functions in fast-moving, high-performance cultures. He has worked in a variety of businesses, across different sizes/stages of companies and with management teams with varying levels of leadership experience. Himanshu brings to Perceptual Advisors his business and talent management expertise, particularly in the technology sector,

Himanshu’s prior leadership experience includes a variety of global Human Resources roles at Blackstone, PIMCO, and Citigroup. His most recent experiences have been focused on VC-backed growth stage companies, including Chief People Officer/Head of People roles at Compass (tech-driven real estate brokerage), Capsule (healthcare/pharmacy technology), and Red Balloon Security (embedded security). His specific leadership responsibilities have included coaching CEOs; managing board relationships, building out leadership teams; scaling recruiting functions; driving organizational effectiveness; and developing rewards strategies.

Himanshu earned graduate degrees in organizational behavior with honors from INSEAD and Cornell University, and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, India.
